How to Disable LightBox in Blogger
by: Marvin
Blogger, one of the leading blogging platforms, has launched its own lightbox plugin for images. LightBox is a very useful tool for viewing images and photo galleries. However, this new feature is enabled by default and some users don’t like to use this type of plugin, while others have their own custom LightBox installed. This has caused the Blogger Team update its plugin by adding an option to the Dashboard so users can disable it if desired.
You can turn this off by simply following these easy steps:
Login to Blogger > Dashboard > Settings > Posts and Comments > Showcase Images in Lightbox.
Under the option of Showcases Images in Lightbox, Choose “No”. Then Save Settings.
If you’re using the old interface here’s how it goes:
1. Login. Click Settings.
2. Under Settings, Click Formatting.
3. Under Showcase Images with LightBox, choose “No.”.
4. Click Save Settings.
If you’re using the new interface:
1. Login. Click on Blog More Options Dropdown. Choose Settings.
2. Under Settings, choose Posts and Comments. Scroll to option Showcase Images with Lightbox? Choose “No”.
3. Save Settings.
