How to do A Quaintly Designed CSS Typographic Grid

How to do A Quaintly Designed CSS Typographic Grid

Now here's a very cool and awesome fascinating way to take on how to create a CSS grid by Chris Coyier. If you're site is very text-heavy then this kind of layout might suit it perfectly for you. You can check out the cool demo to see how this one works.

Horizontal Grid

Vertical Grid

The concept of this was inspired by one Richard Rutter with his well written article Compose to a Vertical Rhythm. If you're having trouble trying to align your site's font with the grid because of the various size variation, you can use a few tools like Baseline Rhythm Calculator, Grid bookmarklet, and Adobe Air EM calculator to help you out with the math. Or better yet, try getting some EM-based CSS.

Enjoy the demo but once in a while here is one cool site that you would want to check out this site has a lot of jQuery and it has a ton of jQuery tutorial resources.
