AnchorCloud Jquery Plugin tutorials:
A very good Web developer Dusky Code
has created a unique jQuery plugin that is called the AnchorCloud
Expanding Link Identifier. This AnchorCloud jQuery Plugin was developed
using a cool and something new the YQL (Yahoo Query Language) it is to
extract the website contents something like of a page title and the
description of the site. Since this is only on its first ever release,
the support for media content is just limited to videos from video site
streaming like YouTube and Vimeo for instance.
Then the next release of it promises will have a very good wider support to
a more increasingly popular video and photo streaming services. Well in the meantime,
there is a working demo that I have found and here you can actually download the AnchorCloud script so you can follow the instructions on how to incorporate the plugin into your site so that it would make it cool.
Here's the code that you can follow using the following script in your
HTML to call the important and a necessary functions in your .js file:
this will be above it:
For the basic HTML that was called using the
code above it:
as you can see here notice that you have called in the jquery.anchorCloud.js that you
have actually called.
As you can see that this is still on an early stages and with such a
limited media streaming content support and you only have two options
like youtube and vimeo. So this is what I have to say that I personally
like it trying it out. And I can’t really wait for the next release to
arrive!
And hopefully this is will have a lot of support for video streaming
sites so that we will have a lot of options to put it on our own site
plus it is awesomely lite weight.
